A legpatinásabb magyar lexikonsorozat az egyik legnagyobb kulturális örökségünk a XX. századból. Tanúskodik a korabeli világlátásról, rögzíti az akkori tudományos, kulturális, politikai, művészeti, sportélet legfontosabb pillanatait. Hogy látták 1935-ben Hitler pályafutását, hogyan fogalmazzák meg a rádiótelefon működését, mit gondoltak az automobilról, mit írnak az erotikáról? Great Lexicon of Révai.
Great Lexicon of Révai is the most tarnished hungarian lexicon serie and cultural heritage from the 20th century. It gives us a wide picture about the contemporary world vision, academic, cultural, political, artistic, sport events and so on. How did they see Hitler’s steps in 1935? How did they explain the functioning of mobile phones? What did they think about cars and what did they write about erotics? The lesson for the modern man is that the world didn’t change in the last 100 years.

It is actually not true, because we can keep in our hands in a small mobile device a database which contains more than 100 million characters, hundreds of pictures. That would be 21 books and 40-50 kg weight. With the help of the quick search, you will be able to find your desired article within seconds.

This current edition is the digital version of the 20 books of the serie. The content is 3,5% botany, 4% zoology, 14% geography, 3% art, 5% medical issues, 6.5% legal issues, 3% Hungarian history and 6% world history.
